We are unable to accept additional contributions for the 2008 election.

A public financing bill passed during last year's legislative session applies to Auditor Merritt's re-election campaign this year.  The period during which qualifying contributions could be submitted ended on Tuesday, May 6, and we have been certified as a qualifying candidate.  This means that we are unable to accept any additional financial contributions for the 2008 election.
